Reporting to the Director of Global Channel Sales, the Distribution Key Account Manager is responsible to grow revenue, POS, Customer count, SKU count and market share in their respective accounts


  • Develop, implement and execute the growth strategy for assigned accounts.
  • Identify opportunities to expand C&K’s offering at assigned accounts through joint analysis of product stocking gaps and competitive swap opportunities for all switch product types
    • Recommend new products to distribution to grow sales
    • Recommend pricing that will maximize sales and margin
    • Recommend new product offerings to C&K
    • Analyze where competitor product is stocked and replace with C&K
  • Develop, implement and execute growth initiatives and targeted sales campaigns for each account. The initiatives should be formally documented to include the scope, expected results, execution plans and success measures.
  • Drive product specific business plans coordinated with the Global Product Management team to promote focus product lines through the channel.
  • Execute the monthly and quarterly business review processes at all accounts as prescribed by Director of Global Channel Sales to measure progress and set key actions for future quarters
  • Abide and enforce contractual agreements for assigned accounts
  • Communicate all aspects of account strategy to the Executive, Regional, Sales and Rep teams of both companies
  • Collaborate with the other global regions to share best practices and communicate ideas, issues and sales strategies.
  • Manage co-op advertising and digital marketing programs to maximize promotion and minimize cost at assigned account
  • Drive POS sales with Regional Sales Manager and Distribution Sales Managers by communicating and monitoring account specific plans
  • Review frequently open quotations, distributor SPA requests and registrations to drive closure of new business
  • Drive opportunities submitted in SFDC for assigned accounts to wins by removing obstacles and identifying keys to obtaining the win


  • 5+ years key account sales, product marketing or product management experience in the electronic components industry
  • Business software skills (MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, CRM etc.)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing preferred; MBA a plus
  • Experience with switches, sub-miniature, or electro-mechanical product a plus
